About Assessment Technologies
 While other companies claim to offer valid computerized assessment tools, these tools are either printed tests that have simply become computer-administered, or relatively inaccurate "brain teaser" puzzles that have not been properly validated. In 1995, our development team of over 100 psychologists initiated development of the first professional and valid assessment tools that are computer-optimized rather than just computer-administered; these tools fully harness interactive, multimedia computer technology to assess abilities that have always remained beyond the scope of printed tests. The assessments use real-life simulations to measure Cognitive Abilities / Aptitude, Task Focus, Situational Awareness, Distractibility, Processing Speed, Social Apperception, and Stress Tolerance.
Assessment Technologies' sophisticated computer-administered assessments have been utilized by the U.S. Intelligence Community and Elite U.S. Special Forces for over 10 years to make assessment and selection decisions for critical special commando missions, and as well as for pre- and post- training programs. Since the assessments measure fundamental abilities that are equally critical in Educational, Military, and Corporate settings, versions of the tool have been developed for all three markets. Our assessments have been nationally standardized and validated by some of the most trusted psychologists in the U.S.; they have been utilized by school psychologists, clinical psychologists, law enforcement agencies, and corporations across the world. Our assessment methodology is so unique that we have been granted 9 patents in the U.S., Israel, Canada, and Australia; 26 more patents are currently pending across the European Union and Japan.
Over 2 million people in the U.S. alone have been successfully tested with our products to date, and 40 countries have requested that our assessment tools be made available internationally.
